Dr. David Sooklal provides comprehensive primary eye care with a strong commitment to community health. He earned his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University before completing his optometric education at Aston University in Birmingham, United Kingdom. To further expand his scope of practice, he completed advanced training in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents at the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Sooklal holds professional memberships with the College of Optometrists in both Ontario and the United Kingdom. Before establishing his practice in Canada, he gained diverse international experience in the UK, serving patients in both traditional high-street clinics and domiciliary (home-visit) settings.

Dr. Aneesha Jain is passionate about combining advanced eye care technology with personalized, compassionate care for every patient. Since opening the practice in 2016, her mission has been simple: to provide comprehensive eye care in an environment where patients feel welcomed, informed, and treated like family.

A graduate of the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Dr. Jain brings over 15 years of clinical experience caring for patients of all ages, from infants experiencing their first eye exam to seniors managing complex eye diseases. She is committed to early detection and prevention, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic technology to identify eye conditions before they affect vision and to monitor eye health with the highest level of precision.

Dr. Jain has a special interest in myopia management, helping children reduce the progression of nearsightedness through evidence-based treatment options including orthokeratology (overnight contact lenses) and other customized myopia control strategies. She believes that preserving children's vision today can have a lifelong impact on their eye health. Her clinical experience also includes fitting specialty contact lenses and providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of visual needs.

She is equally passionate about helping patients who struggle with dry eye disease. Understanding how significantly dry eyes can affect comfort and quality of life, Dr. Jain takes the time to identify the underlying cause of each patient's symptoms and develops individualized treatment plans designed to provide lasting relief.

In addition to routine eye examinations, Dr. Jain diagnoses and manages glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, retinal conditions, and other ocular diseases. She works closely with family physicians and ophthalmologists to ensure patients receive seamless, coordinated care whenever specialized treatment is needed.

Dr. Jain believes that exceptional eye care goes beyond prescribing glasses or contact lenses. She takes the time to educate patients, answer questions, and build lasting relationships founded on trust. Whether she is helping a child see the classroom clearly, managing a chronic eye condition, or guiding a family through their vision care needs, her goal is for every patient to leave feeling confident that they have received the highest standard of care.

When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Jain enjoys spending time with her family and is proud to serve the Oakville community that she calls home.
